Navajo PRAMS
The Navajo PRAMS (Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System) project is a partnership between the New Mexico PRAMS, New Mexico Department of Health, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The goal is to improve the health of Navajo mothers, infants, and families by providing the state’s only population-based maternal and infant information to policy makers, programs, and the general public. PRAMS is a health surveillance system that addresses maternal attitudes, behaviors and experiences occurring before, during and after pregnancy among women giving live birth. The report focuses on Navajo mothers and their infants living in New Mexico. Read more →
